Shipping Date and Advance Orders

Your order will ship on the date you select on the checkout page or we will contact you. If a date isn’t available for you to select, either you’re too late for that day or we’re not open that day.

Shipping Options and Cost

We currently only use FedEx. You can pick how much you want to spend and how long it will take. We’ll send you a tracking number when it ships.

Rush Orders

Get your paper done early. You must select the appropriate shipping method for your package to arrive on-time. Please refer to the FedEx information below. Only BUSINESS DAYS count when calculating shipping time. Orders ship from our warehouse near Chicago, IL.

3. Shipping to College

Mail Rooms: Package gets to school. Package gets to mail room. Student gets slip in mailbox. Student doesn’t pick up package for a couple of days. Ship early! Or tell them to expect a surprise so they go pick it up in a timely manner.
Campus Addresses: Check with Housing, Residence Life, or Student Affairs to make sure your shipping address is formatted correctly. Sometimes a dorm name and number is required (we cannot obtain this for you), other times a campus box number. In almost all cases, we must have a physical street address in order to ship via FedEx. Campus Box Numbers do not always work in the same way regular PO Boxes work….in most cases packages may be delivered to a campus box number via FedEx if a street address is included in the shipping address.

4. International and Military Shipping

We don’t currently ship to APO/FPO addresses or any foreign countries. (Yes, that means no Canada) They want us to pay customs taxes and fill our a ton of forms. Maybe we’ll get it worked out but not right now.

    • FedEx Priority Overnight

Next business day delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, or end of day, depending on destination.
Example: An order shipped out on Thursday will be delivered on Friday by 10:30 am to most areas.

    • FedEx Standard Overnight

Commercial Destinations: Next business day delivery by 3:00 or 4:30 p.m. Residential Destinations: Next business day delivery by 8pm.
Example: An order shipped out on Thursday will be delivered on Friday by 3pm to most areas.

    • FedEx 2Day

Delivery by the end of the second business day. Some locations in Alaska and Hawaii require additional transit time. Service Area Destinations and Origins: All 50 states and Puerto Rico, with some limitations in Alaska and Hawaii.
Example: An order shipped out on Thursday will be delivered by the end of the day on Monday.

    • FedEx Express Saver

Delivery by the end of the third business day. Service Area Destinations and Origins: The 48 contiguous states.
Example: An order shipped out on Thursday will be delivered by the end of the day on Tuesday.

    • FedEx Ground

Delivery Monday-Friday to residential and commercial US addresses. See map for estimated time-in-transit. Please use BUSINESS DAYS (M-F) only when calculating delivery date. The number of days does not include the day that the package is shipped. Delivery is by the end of the business day.

Returns & Undeliverable Packages Policy

We guarantee our packages. If you or the recipient are unsatisfied please contact us within 5 business days of delivery or expected delivery to discuss replacement or refund. All refunded or replaced packages must be returned to within 15 days of delivery. Please call us before you return your package. 844-CAREPAC

Packages are shipped via FedEx. You will receive email notification by one of these companies with your package tracking information. In the unlikelihood that a package is lost, the customer is not available to receive the package, or the package is refused, FedEx will send an email notification to you. In addition, makes every effort during the initial delivery process to notify the sender when a package is deemed undeliverable. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the customer to notify within 5 days of expected delivery regarding the handling of the lost or returned package.

Returned packages will be held by for 5 business days. Upon notification from the customer within (or before) the 5 day period, we will reship the package at the expense of the customer or we will refund the cost of the package minus shipping. A 15% restocking may be assessed for packages containing food or items opened or damaged by recipient. In the case that the customer does not contact within the 5 day period, no refund will be issued.

Packages re-directed by FedEx due to an incomplete or incorrect address may incur a $16 fee. Please verify your shipping address and be sure to include apartment numbers or building names where appropriate.

Item Substitution reserves the right to replace items in our care packages with comparable items based on season and availability.

Sales Tax

Illinois State Sales Tax will be charged on gifts delivered within the state of Illinois.
